My setup (and others here) is proof things DO work, quite well as a matter of fact. If Cubase 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/etc were as ‘the sky is falling bad’ as the complainers make it seem at EVERY single release, Steinberg would’ve been out of business long ago… Aside from the known issues (like the now fixed GPU Acceleration issue), haven’t run into a single hiccup from Cubase 11 all the way to the latest update, yet obviously some people are having serious trouble with their system. There’s thousands of Cubase users that have never even seen this site off and working every day getting things done. Just like every release of EVERY piece of software, there’s a handful of folks having issues with it, and a great majority of its owners getting along just fine… Don’t for one minute think the minority of forum users are the be all end all demographic. (also I see v little difference to you not updating to the latest C12 update, vs me choosing to stay on C11, where to use your words ‘the music keeps coming’) ![]() I belive feedback to companies is important. I’m not happy with the outcome of C12, which I believe is a sentiment shared by more than just one… and that’s all I wanted to share in my initial post. I rarely visit or post on here as I rarely have situations that stump me as C12 has. ![]() I am simply sharing that I am stumped on this one, and do not have more time to invest to resolve it… hence my sentiment. ![]() I’ve been using Cubase for 25 years… so very familiar with tech moving on and the need for updating, and obviously, have done so time and time again to be now on C12.Īs I said, I have done some digging, I have tried solving this over the last year… my first response to encountering an issue was not to moan as you have stated above, I have tried to get C12 to work with each update. Because tech moves on so you either move with in or don’t update ?
